Recent Work
Inspiration comes from the latin word Inspiratio, which means breathing in. We are breathing in everything around us. Louise 'in-spired' and gathered many impressions from different corners of the world. It all went into her imaginary backpack. There it sits for a while, being shuffled, mixed and merged. When the right time comes, creativity flows out in the form of paintings and poetry.

While living on Sakhalin Island in the Far East of Russia and in Canada, snow and ice was my main source of inspiration.
Now in Japan I am thrown back at myself again. Starting all over. Trying to find my way in this new place.
This painting went from :
"Inner turmoil" to "Inner peace".
So I am ready for more paintings. All new and inspired by Japan.There is a lot of creative brewing going on.
