Inspiration comes from the latin word Inspiratio, which means breathing in. We are breathing in everything around us. Louise 'in-spired' and gathered many impressions from different corners of the world. It all went into her imaginary backpack. There it sits for a while, being shuffled, mixed and merged. When the right time comes, creativity flows out in the form of paintings and poetry.

While living on Sakhalin Island in the Far East of Russia, of course winter was very inspiring. To be able to walk on a frozen see is an experience one will never forget. In the north of Alberta, Canada, snow and ice is abundant for at least 5 or 6 months per year. Inspiration for a long time and good for an Arc-tic Art-tic.
