Our new house

In September 2008 we were allowed to have a look in Fort McMurray before accepting the posting.
House hunting was necessary but not easy. There was only one house for rent at the time. We did see a nice home in a beautiful area, but it was for sale and that was not an option.
We really set our minds to this house. In the months that followed we managed to approach the owners to see if they would be willing to rent the house, and that's how we came to live here. The backyard has a nice deck for bbq and we have protecting gargoles!
