Hiking and Biking

Louise was introduced to the Walkie Talkies, a group of women who, the name says it all: walks and talks. In winter if the temperature is not below -22 we meet each other at 8:30 am for a hike of 1 or 1,5 hours in the woods. Now it is summer time, so we meet at 8:00 am and afterwards we go for coffee sometimes.
Here I had my first Tim Hortons with the girls. Monique, top left, Denise, middle photo.
Tim Hortons is THE coffee place according to Canadians.

Hans and I also make long walks. These pictures are from walks in early spring.
It's beautiful when the snow melts. Rivers find a new route: over the bridge instead of under the bridge. Fallen trees emerge, icicles form in the most wonderful shapes. We even saw what looked like frozen bubbles.
If we all knew how beneficial an early morning walk in the forest is, we would do it every day....
